  1. As many others, I was left with a so-so feeling after this movie. Overall, it was a decent flick. Chow Yun Fat didn't have NEARLY as big of a role as he should have, but he did a fine job with what he had to work with. As with the other movies, Geoffrey Rush stole the show in terms of acting. Depp wasn't bad, though nothing like the first movie. Then, there was of course the ever-blase performances by our love-struck duo of Bloom and Knightly. I'm now convinced that their part of the plot was only put in to attract the emo kids. *shrug*

Graphically, the scenes were quite well done IMO. The backdrop of the armada against the pirates was fantasitc, as was the part at the world's end. All in all, I'll probably get it on DVD when there's a trilogy pack with all the extended versions in one box (read: Christmas). :)
