Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

Synopsis
The enigmatic, intergalactic herald, The Silver Surfer, comes to Earth to prepare it for destruction. As the Silver Surfer races around the globe wreaking havoc, Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben must unravel the mystery of the Silver Surfer and confront the surprising return of their mortal enemy, Dr. Doom, before all hope is lost.
All in all, it wasn't a bad flick. Personally I think they could have left Doom out of it and saved his triumphant return for the next movie, but meh. What I didn't like was that Galactus wasn't a big titan'esque dude, but instead was some amorphous cloud. Ummmm, no? I was so hoping they would at least show some face emerging from the fire inside toward the end, but no dice.
ReplyDeleteThey could have done a little more with the Silver Surfer, but I think that might have overdone it.
*shrug* all in all, probably a DVD purchase, but I'll pass on the "extended editions".
